Dear OpenHarmony Developers, According to the compatibility evaluation version rules published on the official OpenHarmony website, the compatibility evaluation cycles for the OpenHarmony 4.1.x Releases and 5.0.x Releases branches are adjusted as follows: Starting from December 30, 2025, new products will no longer be supported for compatibility evaluation based on older branches (OpenHarmony 4.1.x Releases and earlier). Existing products (those that have already completed compatibility evaluation) will still be supported for upgrade evaluations within the maintenance cycles of their respective LTS or Release branches. Starting from May 31, 2026, new products will no longer be supported for compatibility evaluation based on older branches (OpenHarmony 5.0.x Releases and earlier). Existing products (those that have already completed compatibility evaluation) will continue to be supported for upgrade evaluations within the maintenance cycles of their respective LTS or Release branches. Please plan your schedule accordingly to avoid any impact on the evaluation process. OpenHarmony Compatibility Working Group September 17, 2025
